Ranchos Online
Ranchos Online was a London-based, American-inspired takeaway created during Covid-19. Their original website had been built directly by developers without a designer’s input, leaving it cluttered, inconsistent, and off-brand. I reimagined the site to give it structure, personality, and a smoother customer journey that reflected the brand more accurately.
Pain points before
The original site felt overwhelming, with no clear structure or flow. Off-brand fonts and random colors clashed with the identity, while messy layouts and inconsistent design choices made the experience confusing. Content lacked breathing room, leaving users with too much to process and too little clarity. Instead of supporting the brand, the website created friction.
The strategic fix
The site now features a cleaner layout, streamlined menu, and impactful hero image. Navigation is simplified, fonts and colors are consistent, and generous spacing makes content easy to absorb. Footer contact details and social links improve accessibility, while a brief business introduction adds personality and highlights key food regulations, making the site approachable and trustworthy.

Wireframes helped establish a more user-friendly structure, focusing on hierarchy and flow. High-fidelity mockups then translated this into a consistent visual identity, balancing functionality with a brand-appropriate look and feel.
The final product
The finished website reflected Ranchos Online’s identity while improving usability. Pages were visually consistent, easier to navigate, and aligned with the playful, American-inspired brand personality. The design highlighted key content, menus, regulations, and contact info, while creating a smoother, more engaging experience for users browsing the takeaway online.
